Family Game Night

The Curtis Wilson Primary School and Academy family enjoyed a game night filled with pizza, games, family, and friends. In addition to fun, games encourage problem solving, critical thinking, strategy planning, focus, and sportsmanship.  It was awesome spending relaxed time together!

Q2 Citizenship Winners Recognized

At a recent school assembly, Curtis Wilson Primary School and Academy students were honored with the 2nd Quarter Outstanding Citizenship Award. Instrument Petting Zoo

CWPSA Fall Break Campers were treated to an “Instrument Petting Zoo” courtesy of a talented group of UIndy Music Education students. Our kiddos tried their hands (and breath) at guitar, ukulele, violin, viola, flute, clarinet, trumpet, tuba, and piano. We extend a huge thank you to Meagan Brown for organizing this awesome event!

Science Demonstrations

One CWPSA 5th and 6th grade student presents a science demonstration each week. The class has been especially enthusiastic while learning about chemical reactions!

Genetics and DNA

CWPSA students enjoyed an awesome presentation on genetics and DNA today.  The class learned about dominate and recessive genes, extracted DNA from fruit, and created a double helix model of a DNA molecule.  We extend a big thank you to Jennifer Leohr for spending her morning with us!

Principal Honors Bell Ringer
