Our 3rd and 4th graders became spelunkers at Marengo Cave this week where they learned about cave formations including helictites, stalactites, stalagmites, flowstone, cave popcorn soda straws, rimstone dams, and draperies. Students also got to try their hand at gemstone mining. We extend a special thanks to all parent and grandparent chaperones for Helping with our great adventure!
